Snow loads in the Cascades, relentless rain from October through April, and prolonged summer UV exposure all take a toll on unprotected vehicles. A galvanized steel carport from M&C Metal Buildings is engineered to handle all of it. Our frames use hot-dip galvanized steel tubing that resists corrosion without painting or coating — meaning your structure will look and perform the same in year ten as it does in year one.

Every carport we build ships with a vertical roof panel orientation as standard. Unlike boxed-eave designs where panels run horizontally and collect debris at the seams, vertical panels channel water and pine needles directly off the roof without pooling. This makes a meaningful difference in longevity for anyone installing a carport under trees or in a high-rainfall zone — which describes the majority of western Oregon and Washington properties.

We stock configurations from compact single-vehicle covers all the way up to 30-foot-wide RV and boat covers with 14-foot leg height. Full-size Class A and Class C motorhomes, fifth wheels, and dual-axle boat trailers fit comfortably under our large-span models. All carports are open-frame by default — no permit often required for open structures in Oregon and Washington — but we can add end walls, side panels, and walk-in doors for partial or full enclosure.
